Many of us are still in shock, even after more than a month, after the demise of our beloved Sushant Singh Rajput! It still haunts us that the step he had to take because of the toxic nature of the industry is so unforgettable.

We all are eagerly waiting for the tear-jerker 'Dil Bechara', SSR's last film to debut digitally on Disney+ Hotstar on the 24th of July 2020, so that we can watch his charisma for one more time.

As you might already know, the music album is composed by A.R.Rahman, Oscar-award Winner. The lyrics are also penned by the extremely talented Amitabh Bhattacharya. The first song i.e. the Dil Bechara - Title Track from the album dropped on the 9th of July 2020.

We were eagerly waiting for the other songs to drop soon as well while listening to the Title Track on Spotify.

And suddenly, we came to know that the entire album was released on Spotify, and we couldn't control our excitement & started listening to all the songs.

The biggest thing that any A.R.Rahman fan knows is that you may not like the songs when you listen to it for the first time. You may feel they are not good, lack something or the other. And that is the reason we did not immediately post about the album after a day or two. We waited, heard each song up & again as many times as we could, connected with the lyrics and there is no doubt that the album is an absolute delight with amazingly well written & phenomenal songs.

1. Dil Bechara - Title Track

Sung by none other than the legend A.R.Rahman himself, this is quite a weird song when you listen to it for the first time. But, it makes sense, grows on you & makes you hum it more and more.

The quirky lyrics like "Dil Bechara, Friendzone Ka Maara", "L Mein Joda O V E Maine Toh Love Love Love Hi Kiya, Usne Joda I K E Mere Ko Like Like Like Hi Kiya" is ready to tickle your funny bone with being true in real life as well.

The song's music video is shot in one-take which makes it even more amazing.

2. Taare Ginn

This amazing song is sung by the immensely talented Mohit Chauhan & Shreya Ghoshal.

It is a starry-eyed Disney type of song, which you will instantly fall in love with.

It has beautiful lyrics like, "Roko Issey Jitna, Mehsoos Ho Yeh Itna, Dard Zara Sa Hain, Thoda Dava Sa Hai" & "Taare Gin, Taare Gin, Soye Bin, Saare Gin, Ik Haseen Mazaa Hai Yeh, Mazaahiya Saza Hai Yeh".

It's a really beautiful song with a really cute music video that explores young love at its beginning.

3. Khulke Jeene Ka

This is our favorite song of the album as it was sung by our favorite Arijit Singh & Shashaa Tirupati.

It's a song that will lift your mood right up & you'll have a smile on your face whenever you listen to the song.

It has lyrics like "Khulke Jeene Ka Tareeqa Tumhe Sikhate Hain, Hans Ke Dekho Na Lateefa Tumhe Sunate Hain, Umar Ke Saal Kitne Hain Gin Gin Ke Kya Karna, Beet Jaayein Na Ginti Mein Hi Marna, Aao Filmon Ke Be-adab Gaane Gaate Hain, Heroine Hero Aaj Hum Tum Ban Jaate Hain", "Khushiyan Toh Rakheen Hain Pocket Mein, Kaagaz Ke Nanhe Se Packet Mein", "Yaari Aur Chahat Ke Jo, Beech Ki Maheen Sarhad Hain, Paar Usko Kar Jaana Dil Ki Buri Aadat Hain" are instant mood-lifters.

The entire song is a poetic song set in the love capital of the world - Paris in the music video.

4. Main Tumhara

This is that romantic song that will tuck at your heartstrings & you'll re-sing the lyrics multiple times & still stay in love with it.

It has been beautifully sung by Hriday Gattani & Jonita Gandhi.

Some of the lyrics are "Tum Naa Hue Mere Toh Kya, Main Tumhara, Main Tumhara, Main Tumhara Raha, Mere Chanda Main Tumhara Sitara Raha", "Rishta Raha Bass Ret Ka, Ae Samundar Main Tumhara, Kinara Raha" which struck you directly.

The entire song has a soothing tone with amazing lyrics.

5. Maskhari

This fun song is sung by Hriday Gattani & Sunidhi Chauhan.

It has an addictive background tone with fun lyrics all over.

Some of the lyrics like "Kar Band Sabhi Ghadiyan Aur Mood Bana Badhiya", "Accha Khaasa Kaam Maskhari, Fokat Mein Badnaam Maskhari, Dil Ko De Aaram Maskhari, Pidahari Balm Maskhari" are fun with its background score.

It'll make you laugh with the amazing music & lyrics.

6. Afreeda

This fusion type song is sung by the talented Sanaa Moussa & Raja Kumari.

We did not like this song when we heard it for the first time, but, now it grew on us & we love the beats and the amazing singing done by the talented singers.

The lyrics are like "Fikar Ko Neelam Karke, Chain Ka Lamha Khareeda", "Afreeda, Afreeda, Ho Mohabbat Afreeda".

It has an amazing feel with it due to the talented singing & the amazing music.

7. Mera Naam Kizie

This happy-go-lucky song is sung by talented singers - Aditya Narayan & Poorvi Koutish.

It has some fun & quirky lyrics like "Mera Naam Kizie, Kizie, Kizie, Thodi Si Mushkil, Thodi Easy", "Mera Naam Manny, Manny, Manny, Raahat Mein Lipti Si Bechani", "Main Din Hoon, Toh Tu Raat Hai, Iss Jodi Ki Kya Baat Hai, Total Ajooba Hai".

It'll also lift your mood with its fun lyrics & make you happy.

8. Friendzone

This is a different iteration of the Title Track still sung by A.R.Rahman with more beats & different music. This proves that the legendary music director can change the music without changing the lyrics & this shows his versatility.

It has the same funny lyrics like the Title Track.

This has more beats & a very good rendition of an already beautiful song.

9. The Horizon of Saudade

Like almost every album of A.R.Rahman, this is an instrumental piece.

It has the power to transport to another world if you listen to it in a quiet place with your earphones/headphones plugged in.

It has a warmth which is missing in so many modern musics with just being about loud beats & no good lyrics.

The album ends on such a soothing note, that you'll want to listen to it again & again.

We are all waiting for more music videos to get released & watch the movie as it gets released on Disney+ Hotstar on the 24th of July 2020.
